About: Campus

The Corpus Christi School campus includes an elementary classroom building, middle school building, a full size gymnasium and a social hall. Additional parish buildings are Corpus Christi Church, the parish center, rectory and convent. Although the buildings are over 50 years old, they are exceptionally well maintained and cared for.

The elementary building has two floors plus a lower level. The first floor houses the offices, nurse's room, faculty room, and nine primary grade classrooms. Six intermediate grade classrooms, a library, music room, counselor's office and two meeting rooms are on the second floor. The lower level of the building is a large gathering area used for school assemblies and programs.

When Corpus Christi High School closed in 1972, that building was integrated as part of the elementary school and became known as the Middle School. The additional space has afforded us the opportunity to have many spacious classrooms to support the varied curriculum programs and special classes. Seventh and eighth grade homerooms, a Spanish classroom and a faculty room are on the 2nd level. The 1st floor has a dedicated computer lab, art room, counseling room, the Special Reading classroom and a meeting room. A Science classroom, Science laboratory and band room are on the lower level.

A central air conditioning system has recently been installed in both the elementary and middle school buildings. The security of our buildings is ensured by an electronic key entry system; only those with a valid key card can enter the buildings. The entrance is monitored with a camera and intercom/buzzer system.

The full size gymnasium is used for all physical education classes, CYM sporting events and school programs. The students and school families use the social hall throughout the year for school events and social activities.
